Dr. Rongqin Zheng is a professor and director of the Department of 

Ultrasound in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. 

She is also a supervisor of the Ph.D program. Dr. Zheng is actively involved

 in a diverse of academic organizations including committee member of 

Ultrasound Branch of Chinese Medical Association, vice president of 

Ultrasound Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, etc. She is also 

the editorial board members of several journals such as Chinese Journal 

of Ultrasonography, et al. In addition to the clinical ultrasound diagnosis 

and interventional ultrasound treatment, Dr. Zheng’s research focuses on 

the clinical application of the new ultrasonic technology and microbuble 

related basic research area. She has published more than 300 scientific 

papers in both Chinese and international professional journals.
